| How to replace the refill
1. Remove the cap.
2. Unscrew the front section (collet) from the barrel. On current versions, the cap can be used as a tool to loosen and tighten the front section.
3. Remove the used refill and insert the new one.
4. Screw the front section back on and tighten it fully. When properly secured, the refill stays firmly in place without retracting or wobbling.

| Only one component to remove
Pen C uses a claw-shaped collet instead of a spring to hold the refill. Apart from the cap, only the collet needs to be removed to replace a refill.

| Wear the cap as a pendant
The end parts of Pen C are interchangeable. Move the rear end piece — the part with the cord hole — onto the cap, thread a cord through it, and the cap can be worn as a pendant. The cap stays with you while you write, so it is never misplaced.

| Mechanical pencil conversion
Pen C and Pen C mini can also be converted into a mechanical pencil with the Pen C Series Mechanical Pencil Kit (sold separately). See the Mechanical Pencil Kit guide for installation steps.

| About Pen S
Pen S is a refillable rollerball pen with a rounded aluminum barrel for a comfortable grip and no edges to catch in a pocket or bag. Flip it over and the rear end works as a touch tip for smartphones and tablets — one tool for writing and browsing. Pen S received the 2019 Golden Pin Design Award.
Pen S mini is a shorter, lighter version designed for smaller hands. Both models share the same collet and refill system as the rest of the Pen series.

| How do the Pen models differ?
Pen C features a faceted barrel, Pen S a rounded barrel with a touch tip, and Pen N a sleek metal or warm wood barrel with a functional clip. Each is available in a standard and a more compact size (Pen N in metal and wood). The chart below compares the main specifications.

| Where is the Pen series made, and from what material?
All ANTOU products are designed and manufactured in Taiwan. The Pen series is machined from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy — lightweight, strong and durable, chosen to withstand long-term daily use. Components are produced by precision CNC machining, the same process used in the consumer electronics and medical device industries.

| What does “zero wobble” mean, and why does it matter?
Many pens leave a small gap between the refill and the tip opening, which causes the refill to shift while writing. After surveying the widths of refills and tips across the market, the ANTOU design team developed a claw-shaped collet that grips the refill tightly. The result is a stable tip with zero wobble, for neater handwriting and less strain on the wrist.
