| How to unscrew the cap?
Grip the metal barrel and unscrew it just like a bottle cap. Avoid applying pressure against the pen clip. If the cap is too tight, wrapping a rubber band around it can provide extra friction for easier opening.
| Proper tightening and grip for the wooden edition?
When tightening the cap, place your grip on the front of the barrel where the metal structure is embedded. This minimizes stress on the wood and prevents potential damage.
| What if the pen tip retracts while writing?
If the tip retracts during use, please reinstall the refill and ensure the collet is tightened. Once properly secured, the refill will remain steady without retracting or wobbling.
| How to get started with your new pen sleeve?
New leather sleeves are naturally firm. You can gently press the leather to make it more pliable. If inserting the pen feels tight during the first use, we recommend opening the pen clip and sliding the entire pen in from the top.
| How to smoothly remove the pen from the sleeve?
For effortless extraction, we recommend reaching your fingers into the sleeve to grip the pen barrel before pulling it out. The leather will naturally soften and become more pliable with use, making it even easier to handle over time. If preferred, you may also trim approximately 1cm off the back of the leather at your own discretion.
| How to fix a loose pen clip?
The pen clip is designed to be detachable and is pre-secured with threadlocker before shipping. If the clip becomes loose, simply tighten it clockwise.
For permanent fixation, you may apply a small amount of AB epoxy to the side threads of the clip and the three-point threads on top of the cap.
