Designing a notebook with a continually extendable lifespan.

 In 2020, ANTOU team came up with the idea of creating a practical notebook. Driven by the belief that others might share the same concerns, we began designing the first generation of NOTA.book –  NOTA. DAILY. We aimed to solve common issues with handwritten notes, such as dealing with disorganized, thick notebooks while working, dissatisfaction with commercial notebook designs, the desire for adjustable pages without the hassle of binding rings, and the need to replace notebooks every year. 

We positioned NOTA. series as a long-term usable product. While components like inner pages, covers, and elastic bands may face wear and tear over time, the magnetic binder and the ability to disassemble and replace each part mean the notebook’s lifespan can be indefinite. After two years of the pandemic and the shift to working from home, ANTOU launched NOTA.2.0 NOTA  Work, focusing more on work-oriented use. It utilizes easily accessible A4 paper, folded in half, and with the use of a dedicated hole puncher, it becomes the notebook’s inner pages.

The Work version comes with two binder version  : international version and NA version ,  three specialized accessories: the frequently used EDC transparent folder, the professional-looking leather cardholder, and the clipboard. These can be mixed and matched with the Daily version’s binder to create a professional notebook tailored to your work style.

 | The Uniqueness of Pineapple Leather|

Pineapple leather is a completely vegan material made from specially processed pineapple leaves. Compared to animal leather, vegan pineapple leather offers a soft and gentle touch without the need to use animals for raw materials, thereby reducing environmental impact. In terms of texture and color, pineapple leather exhibits a unique granular feel with natural fiber specks, giving it a natural beauty and distinctiveness. The color palette presents a low-saturation gray tone, adding a subtle, elegant matte finish.

The magnetic binder design allows notebooks to be divided by category and type, with one binder for each category. This enables easy switching of notebooks for different usage scenarios, allowing you to seamlessly record various aspects of life.

A silicone band secures all the pages in a binder, and it does a proper job of holding things in place. Freeing the pages needs only a firm slide downwards, and it’s exceptionally convenient for organizing and sharing your notes or replacing pages.

The U-shaped groove design on the edges allows the Simple Book Cover to fit perfectly into the magnetic binder. When you only want to carry one side of the binder, attaching the Simple Book Cover helps prevent paper from bending or getting damaged, making it easy and quick to take with you.
